Daniel Krulewitch began to practice yoga the day before his forty-fifth birthday. He found that yoga offered a counterbalance to his life, which included working in high tech, raising a family, and dealing with the stresses of modern life. Yoga, Daniel realized, helped him feel everything, while the rest of his life seemed as though it required him to suppress his feelings.
Daniel’s Vinyasa classes emphasize thoughtful exploration and de-emphasize the quest for perfection. He provides a safe, comfortable environment for all students, regardless of age, gender, size, or background. In his classes, Daniel guides yogis through the process of “unplugging” from the nonstop data-driven world, quieting the mind, moving and breathing in a healthful way, and maybe even sharing a laugh or two.
From the first day Joanna stepped onto a mat in 2007, she realized she had finally come home. During a time when she was seeking healing--physical, emotional, spiritual-- Joanna found yoga to be a sacred and illuminating container for growth. Her mat became the mirror she used to relearn how to take ownership and care of her body and soul. Learning to teach through The New School of Yogic Arts remains one of the best, most fulfilling decisions she's ever made.
Joanna delights in the way yoga can be both a playground and a soft embrace, a tool to navigate spending time on this earth. When not in a studio, Joanna can be found seeking the next adventure- biking around Boston, trekking to the sea, reading, rock climbing, and traveling. In her heart she holds the warmest gratitude and love for her teachers, who continually guide her toward a path in which yoga is a living tradition both on and off the mat.
Tiffany has always been drawn to the expression of spirit through movement. At a young age it was through dance, which she made into a career but then at just twenty-three. She then found herself in the travel industry where, following a lay-off, Tiffany stumbled upon yoga in her local gym. What she found changed the course of her life. There was an emotional ease on the mat that Tiffany had never felt before. Her years of suffering from anxiety, eating disorders, and panic attacks all felt like they just dissipated. Years later, in 2009, Tiffany opened herself up to what yoga had to offer besides just the physical experience on the mat, and completed her first RYT certification at South Boston Yoga. In 2012 she continued her studies with Kelly Morris, the founder of Conquering Lion Yoga in New York City. Tiffany is also certified through ACE in Group Fitness and has been teaching in the health and wellness field since 2003. In her classes, Tiffany emphasizes breath and alignment along with one's instinctual expression, and encourages non-judgment while attempting to infuse some humor.
Tiffany is so grateful to all of her teachers and students, who inspire her teachings and remind her every day that she is and always will be both. Her hope is that students uncover yoga as more than just asana. Yoga cultivates an awareness of yourself as an individual being that is intimately connected to the universe, and the teachings you experience on the mat will permeate into the rest of your life off the mat ... and, of course, vice-versa.
Growing up in Northern New Hampshire, the mountains were a playground for Cameron from a very young age. Naturally, outdoor adventure and athletics were a grounding presence. Years of competitive skiing and cycling left him frustrated with chronic pain. It was only after his sister’s suggestion to join her for a yoga class that a life changing transformation began to take place.
Cameron’s classes are fun and energetic with a strong belief in mindful movement and personal alignment. His sequencing helps to build strength and increase flexibility. Cameron believes in solid fundamentals and each class has a strong emphasis on basic alignment to develop muscle memory for new students. His main goal is to help inspire students to learn more about themselves on and off the mat.
Finding yoga has changed my life in more ways than I could have imagined. Originally I was drawn to the practice because of my physical body and soon discovered I wasn't asking myself the right questions. I want my students to get excited for class but also show them that their ability to look within for answers is a lifelong tool. Yoga can be practiced in thousands of ways. I believe in a Yoga practice that works for an individual. We all come from different stock and have different lifestyles. The variables are endless. What do I need? What don't I need? I aspire to encourage people to develop a Yoga practice that works!

Every time Izzy steps on her mat it's an experiment, an opportunity to learn something, weather it be finding her edge, breaking through habitual thought patterns, finding a moment of stillness, an exhale perhaps a surrender and release.
Growing up Izzy was a relentless athlete, with years of National competition in Rowing, Track and Field, and Gymnastics. She pushed her body and mind to the limits. Gifted with a mother who knew she'd need a little extra TLC she attended her first Yoga class in 2004. In 2007 Izzy invested in her first Yoga teacher training with Gopi Kinnicutt. Since then she has studied with both International and Local teachers such as Shiva Rea, Dharma Mittra, Bonnie Argo, Jenny Sauer-Klein, Jason Nemer, Lynne Begier, Chanel Luck , Ana Forest, Jennifer Reis, and more.
Izzy's Classes are base on the premiss of loving the way your body moves. She strives to teach from a place of self empowerment from the ground up. She believes stability leads to the possibility of trying things you may never have thought possible. The poses will flow from one to the next inviting embodiment throughout the transitions.
In 2007 Izzy found a flyer for an AcroYoga workshop in NYC. It took her three hours to drive there and less then a minute to know the practice would be part rest of her life. She became a globe trotting student of these three practices, yoga, acrobatics, and the healing arts. Her local and international studies have taken Izzy across the United States, Europe, and all the way to Southeast of Asia. Devoting herself to the path of becoming a certified teacher, Izzy graduated Kripalu's 500hr Massage Program (Mass LMT), and the Thai Massage Circus Intensive. She finally became an AcroYoga Teacher in 2011.
Raquel Marra My yoga practice is a constant search for the balance between movement and stillness, strength and flexibility, loudness and silence, inwardness and participation. All of which are juxtapositions that fuel my passion for yoga as a personal practice as well as my drive to teach what I discover. My classes are an endeavor to yoke the quiet beauty of a personal practice with the excitement of sharing the experience with a like-minded kula. My aim is to move through this life as I try to on my mat: with grace, fluidity and a strong sense of alignment. My yoga practice creates a profound sense of spaciousness in my inner landscape that I hope to convey to my students through creative flow and sweaty vinyasa.

Gerry Samson’s relationship with yoga has been an evolving and life-altering experience. Gerry rowed through college and devoted much of his body and time to the sport. Weight lifting and long training hours left his body broken down, and aches and pains developed, which followed him beyond college graduation. He began attending occasional community classes, but yoga felt contentious at first; the asana practice of yoga seemed out of reach for his body. However, as Gerry’s body began to accept his asana practice and he began to reap its benefits, yoga became a necessary part of his life. This love lead him to Ame Wren’s teacher training at Boston Yoga School, where he completed his 200-hour certification.
Gerry graduated with a B.A. in psychology and philosophy, and throughout college worked with children of various educational needs. When he graduated, he sought to keep working with children with special needs. During the day, he is a behavioral therapist for children with autism at a small special education school. He has found that yoga helps his students focus better throughout their day, and gives them an opportunity for body exploration that they don’t get in a regular school day. Just as yoga helped bring Gerry comfort in his own body, he hopes that by sharing yoga with kids and encouraging their own exploration of movement, they can become comfortable and confident in themselves.
Gerry aims to teach well-aligned postures throughout a thoughtful vinyasa sequence. He likes to take his time in his practice, exploring new movements and ways to experience a pose. His yoga is influenced by his teachers Ame Wren, Peter Crowley, and Nicole Clark, who are constantly changing his yoga experience.
Glen Cunningham has been teaching Yoga in and around Boston for over 15 years with more than 10,000 classes under his belt. He is the only teacher to be recognized twice as “Boston’s Best Yoga Instructor” by Boston Magazine (2003 & 2014). His teaching has always been influenced by his early years as a gymnast, his young adult years living in Japan (studying Japanese and Buddhist culture), as well as by his years spent working in “corporate America.” Ultimately, it was the corporate lifestyle that not only triggered the deterioration of his physical, mental, emotional and spiritual health, but it also made him recognize how dysfunctional and out of balance many of the goals woven into American work life seemed to be. Consequently, Glen’s classes (while physically and mentally challenging) are aimed at being approachable for students of many different ages, abilities and experience levels, and while they provide the physical workout and stress reduction that initially attracts most people to Yoga, the ultimate goal of his classes is to enable people to see beyond the anxiety and stagnation that often accompany a busy, fast-paced lifestyle, in order to come to a deeper understanding (through the clarity of a quiet mind and the openness of an expansive heart) of the true direction they want their life path to take from here, and to feel emboldened to act on that instinct.
Masha Leuner first tried yoga in 2005, when she was looking for a way to relieve the stress of planning her destination wedding. Working with her body in unfamiliar and challenging poses was a different experience than any she’d had before. Ever since that first hour on her mat, Masha’s love and appreciation for these poses continues to grow as they always teach her something new.
Masha believes that, over time, yoga awakens and strengthens our innate ability to heal ourselves. She teaches with that goal in mind. Masha’s classes integrate skeletal alignment, deep awareness of breath, and the dynamic movement of vinyasa. She encourages stepping on the mat and leaving the ego behind.
Masha holds a BA/MA in Economics and an MBA from New York University’s Stern School of Business. After many years as a career-driven marketer in the New York City area, the stress and focus on achievement started to impact her health. Yoga has helped in her journey of letting go. Masha completed her 200hr teacher training with the New School of Yogic Arts and continues advanced studies with Dr. Loren Fishman in yoga for osteoporosis.
These days she finds fulfillment in spending time with her kids, and in slowing down enough to even notice and appreciate the changing color of leaves in the fall.
Back in 2008 in the trenches of nursing school while leading a FOMO party life, Lauren needed a healthier alternative. She started practicing warm vinyasa yoga in New Haven to offset the stress of her new career in ICU nursing. YES!
When she moved to Encinitas, CA, in 2011, she continued to flow like the surfers and completed teacher training at her local studio, Corepower Yoga. California, bursting with the best avocados and fruit she had ever tasted, is also where she started to experiment with vegetarian and vegan cooking.
When Lauren returned to Boston she felt reverse culture shock, on the streets and in the yoga studio. She also realized she wanted to teach a class unique to her, not a skeleton developed by a yoga chain. Compelled to dive deeper, she completed her second 200-hour training at Coolidge Corner Yoga in 2016 under Goldie Graham, Tatyana Souza, Laura Ahrens and Andrew Tanner. These four unique souls were the best example of how to share from an open heart. She left the training stronger, not only as a teacher, but a better communicator.
This training also introduced her to Ayurveda, the oldest still practiced healthcare system in the world. As a critical care nurse focused on saving lives, Lauren appreciated the expansive big picture view of health that goes beyond disease free by learning how to thrive. Feeling invigorated physically, mentally and spiritually, she had to know more about Ayurveda and went on to complete a 650-hour certification as an Ayurvedic Health Counselor from Kripalu Center in the Berkshires.
Lauren continues to work part time in the cardiac ICU at Mass General. Her teaching reflects her holistic path and is influenced by western anatomy and physiology, yogic philosophy, and Ayurvedic wisdom. Her yoga class is meant to adapt to the season, time of day, and honor your individual constitution.
From a young age, Catie Macken has loved all forms of movement. She began dancing as a child, found running post-college, and completed her first marathon in 2012. To supplement training, Catie embarked upon indoor cycling in 2011 and began teaching it in 2013.
An injury brought Catie to yoga in 2010. Little did Catie know that just two years later, she would complete her yoga teacher training. Upon obtaining her certification, Catie started teaching in the Twin Cities area part-time. During the next year, her dharma began to unfold. In 2013, Catie moved to Boston to begin a full-time career in fitness. Over the next two years, she established herself as a well-known yoga and cycling instructor. Her teaching contains a calm intensity that inspires her students to tap into their inner strength and her classes are infused with playfulness, gratitude, devotion, and laughter. Her raw authenticity and vibrant personality instantly connect her with her students and peers.
A lover of learning, Catie is constantly seeking out new mentors and pulls inspiration for her teaching from her own personal practice as a student of yoga. Catie spent much of 2016 immersing herself in the AcroYoga community and all of the communication, trust, and physical and mental strength that come with it. She has studied with and under some of the best teachers in the Acro community, and completed her Acro teacher training in Germany in August 2016.

Vinyasa Yoga is a vigorous yoga class that moves through poses with the pace of your breath. The class is designed for all levels with modifications offered to take the class at your own level and ability on any given day. The sequence of each class will build towards a challenging peak pose(s) to stimulate both the beginner and advanced practitioner as well as the kid at heart. This class will be sweaty and fun and will challenge students of all levels.
