Caity O'Hagan

Caity first encountered yoga while attending school for Nursing at Simmons College. She was instantly drawn to its ability to hold space and create stillness during such a hectic time in her life. Since then, her yoga practice has become her most loyal and compassionate friend, shining brightest during the darkest and craziest of times.

After earning her Bachelors Degree in Nursing and obtaining a job in the Cardiac Surgery ICU at Brigham and Women’s Hospital, Caity was inspired to expand her passion and expertise beyond western medicine. A colleague introduced her to Reiki and she was blown away by its ability to enable the relaxation response and promote the healing process within the human body. Fascinated by the practice, she later became certified as a Level II Reiki Practitioner.

While continuing her career in nursing, Caity took her love for Yoga to a new level through completing a 200-hour training with the New School of Yogic Arts. Deeply influenced by her teachers and experiences as a nurse and yogi, Caity aims to bring a sense of energetic empowerment to her classes and clients as a registered yoga teacher. Caity has found that yoga, reiki, and meditation can come into and complement the places that Western medicine does not yet touch.

Caity’s overall goal is to inspire introspective exploration, and a deeper connection to one’s Self.
